Council President Anthony Young was joined by Congressman Bob Filner, representatives from Skyline-Paradise Hills and Encanto Neighborhood Community Planning Groups, San Diego Unified School District, staff from the Public Works Department, and community members for the groundbreaking ceremony.

"This important project will beautify the Skyline Drive corridor and bring some much needed safety improvements to this major thoroughfare in my district," said Young. The groundbreaking site showcased one feature of the infrastructure project that will provide traffic calming and safety improvements.
