Then in the afternoon, they’ll hear few audit reports on how to improve its public facilities and streamline street repairs and potholes.

Item 200 — City of San Diego Affordable Housing Fund Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Report
This report covers the period of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. It is issued following the closeout of the Fiscal Year and includes unaudited data.
The report includes:
- Revenue collections and investments;
- Performance in meeting the goals of the previous year’s Affordable Housing Fund Annual Plan;
- Information regarding the number and types of units assisted;
- Rents and sales prices of units assisted; and
- The amount of other funds leveraged.
Item 201 — Re-Review Performance Audit of the City's Pothole Repair Operations
The Office of the City Auditor conducted a re-review audit of the City’s pothole repair operations to determine the extent to which the Transportation Department is still implementing previously identified (or similar) recommendations.
The Office of the City Auditor found that the Transportation Department maintained implementation of most of the recommendations from the 2013 audit, but some efforts should be expanded or updated. The Office of the City Auditor made 10 recommendations to address these findings, which the Transportation Department agreed to implement.
Item 202 — Performance Audit of Facility Maintenance
The City of San Diego owns more than 1,600 public buildings and structures that cost tens of millions of dollars to maintain annually. Collectively these facilities are worth more than $7 billion. The Office of the City Auditor conducted a performance audit which found the City has not been able to prioritize sufficient funding to maintain its facilities, which will cost the City more in the long term.
Nevertheless, the City needs a facility maintenance plan to ensure it spends its limited maintenance funds efficiently. The Office of the City Auditor made 10 recommendations to address these findings, which City Management agreed to implement. Yet, City Management indicated additional resources and staff will be needed to fully implement some recommendations.

Tema 200 — Informe Anual del Año Fiscal 2024 del Fondo de Vivienda Asequible de la Ciudad de San Diego
Este informe cubre el período del 1 de julio de 2023 al 30 de junio de 2024. Se emite después del cierre del año fiscal e incluye datos no auditados.
El informe incluye:
- Recaudación de ingresos e inversiones;
- Desempeño en el cumplimiento de las metas del Plan Anual del Fondo de Vivienda Asequible del año anterior;
- Información sobre el número y los tipos de unidades asistidas;
- Alquileres y precios de venta de las unidades asistidas; y
- La cantidad de otros fondos apalancados.
Tema 201 — Revisar la auditoría de desempeño de la reparación de baches de la ciudad
La Oficina del Auditor de la Ciudad llevó a cabo una auditoría de revisión de la reparación de baches del Ayuntamiento para determinar hasta qué punto el Departamento de Transporte todavía está implementando recomendaciones previamente identificadas (o similares).
La Oficina del Auditor de la Ciudad encontró que el Departamento de Transporte mantuvo la implementación de la mayoría de las recomendaciones de la auditoría de 2013, pero algunos esfuerzos deben ampliarse o actualizarse. La Oficina del Auditor de la Ciudad hizo 10 recomendaciones para abordar estos hallazgos, que el Departamento de Transporte acordó implementar.
Tema 202 — Auditoría de rendimiento del mantenimiento de las instalaciones
