A brief break from budget discussions allow for a City Council Meeting and two committee meetings before the Mayor's May Budget Revision is presented on Thursday.

Public Safety and Livable Neighborhoods – May 19, 2021 - 9 a.m.
Councilmember Monica Montgomery Steppe chairs the meeting with two items on the agenda.
Item 1 – FY 2022 Recreation Center Fund Budgets – This item seeks approval of the FY 2022 proposed budget for Recreation Center Funds which allow for recreation programs, maintenance and events to take place.
Item 2 – Criminal and Community Justice Divisions Update – This is an informational item which will present strategic priorities for the division of the City Attorney’s Office. The presentation will outline goals and detail programs in the office.
Active Transportation and Infrastructure – May 19, 2021 - 2 p.m.
Councilmember Marni von Wilpert presides over a busy ATI meeting with numerous items on the agenda.
Item 4 - Amendments to the City’s Municipal Code for shared Mobility Device Regulations – This item proposes amending the Shared Mobility Device Ordinance to update regulations to further improve operations, include a sunset for a future RFP and Address unauthorized removal practices.
Item 5 – Approve Project Street List to be Funded by FY 2022 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) Funds – This item authorizes and approves the list of projects found on the FY 2022 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account Project. The Transportation and Stormwater Department will present the details. The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, which established the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA), was signed into law by the Governor on April 28, 2017 to address basic road maintenance, rehabilitation, and critical safety needs on both the state highway and local streets and road systems.

Budget Review Committee Meeting – May 20, 2021 - 2 p.m.
Budget Review Committee Vice Chair Jennifer Campbell will lead this meeting as Chair Chris Cate is on leave. The agenda lists two items.
Item 1 – Fiscal Year 2021 Third Quarter Budget Monitoring Report – The Department of Finance provides the City Council and the Public with an update of revenues and expenditures for funds with budgeted personnel expenditures. The report allows the Council and the public to compare projections to the current fiscal year’s budget.
Item 2 – May Revision to the Fiscal Year 2022 Proposed Budget – The Mayor’s staff will present the Mayor’s recommended revisions to the FY 2022 Proposed Budget and reflects the most current projections of revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year.
