Thursday’s committee meetings conclude a big week of legislative action.  The Active Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will consider approval of multiple consulting agreements and amendments to contracts.  The Environment Committee will have an informational update on the implementation of SB1383, the State's organic diversion mandate.

Item 2 - Award the Consultant Agreement H2125819 with Trussell Technologies Inc., for Design and Construction Support Services for the SBWRP Reverse Osmosis System Project


 


Item 3 - Award a First Amendment to the original consultant contract, H197073, for Los Peñasquitos Lagoon Restoration Phase 1 project with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for civil engineering services

Cool TowersItem 4 - Task Order Modification #4 with Du Wright Construction for M17001-4/PS1 and PS2 Cooling Tower Replacement – This item requests authorization for to increase the value of the contract between the City and Du Wright Construction by $417,960.72.  The contract pertains to replacement of cooling towers used at two Metropolitan System pump stations.


 


 


Item 5 - Award Consultant Agreement H2125802 with WSP USA Inc., for Design and Construction Support Services for the Gatewood Hills Pump Station Project - This item requests approval to award a design consultant contract in the amount, not to exceed, $889,935.75 with WSP USA Inc., for professional engineering services, design support services during the construction phase, and the final project close-out activities for the upgrades to the Gatewood Hills Pump Station.


 


Item 6 - Active Transportation and Infrastructure Work Plan for Calendar Year 2022 – This item is an opportunity for Committee Members and the public to review the Active Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Work Plan for Calendar Year 2022.

Item 7 - City of San Diego Fiscal Year 2023-2027 Five-Year Capital Infrastructure Planning Outlook - Information only - The City of San Diego Fiscal Year 2023-2027 Five-Year Capital Infrastructure Planning Outlook models fiscal and capital asset planning.  This is the eighth CIP Outlook the City has published since January 2015, and it aims to provide information on the basis for revenue projections, criteria to determine capital infrastructure needs, and present a broad overview of capital infrastructure needs and funding over the next five fiscal years.

East ElliottItem 1 - Authorization to Transfer and Expend Funds from the Habitat Acquisition Fund (HAF) for East Elliott property acquisitions from willing sellers – The City of San Diego (City) is seeking to acquire approximately 25 acres of Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MPHA)/Open Space lands within the East Elliott area as part of the continued implementation of the Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP). East Elliott is a core biological area, deemed essential for continued conservation of San Diego's unique biodiversity.  This item would authorize the transfer of funds for the acquisition of property.
