Budget Committee Agenda

Item 1 - Fiscal Year 2022 Mid-Year Budget Monitoring Report – The purpose of the Fiscal Year 2022 Mid-Year Budget Monitoring Report is to provide the City Council and the public with an update of revenues and expenditures for funds with budgeted personnel expenditures.  This report may include requested authorities and appropriation adjustments necessary to maintain budgetary control over certain General Fund and non-General Fund departments per the municipal code.

BreezewayItem 2 – FY 2023 City Council Budget Priorities – In December 2021, Budget and Government Efficiency Committee Chair Chris Cate issued a memorandum requesting that all Councilmembers submit their budget priorities for the FY 2023 Proposed Budget to the Office of the Independent Budget Analyst by January 14, 2022. Those priorities, submitted by the Council Districts, are represented in this report.  The IBA recommends that the Budget and Government Efficiency Committee review and discuss the budget priorities highlighted in this report and forward these priorities with any desired modifications to the City Council for formal adoption as the FY 2023 Budget Priorities Resolution.
