Councilmembers will hear the Mayor and his staff present the FY 2026 Draft Budget. It is the first in a series of discussions about the budget for the coming year. Members of the public are invited to provide their input at this and other upcoming meetings.

Item 200 - Presentation of the Fiscal Year 2026 Draft Budget
In accordance with City Charter section 69(c), the Mayor is required to propose a budget to the City Council and to make that budget available to the public no later than April 15. This is an informational presentation of the Fiscal Year 2026 Draft Budget.
The draft budget can be found on the Department of Finance website.
Members of the public will have many opportunities in the coming weeks to provide input on the proposed budget, including Budget Review Committee sessions which occur in the first week of May and can be found on the Legislative Calendar.
Item 201 - Transfer of Ballpark District Chilled Water Franchise from JMIR-Chilled Water LLC to Cordia Growth LLC
This item introduces an ordinance authorizing the transfer of ownership of JMIR Chilled Water, LLC to Cordia Growth, LLC, for purposes of the franchise granted to JMIR Chilled Water, LLC by Ordinance No. O-19489 to construct, maintain, and use pipes and appurtenances in streets of the City to provide temperature controlled water services for heating and cooling buildings and facilities within the Ballpark District.
