The People’s Business – May 3, 2022
One of the most important duties of the San Diego City Council is the review and approval of the City’s Annual Budget. Over the next few weeks, Councilmembers and their staff will look closely at the budget proposed by Mayor Todd Gloria, speak to people from each City department about their budgets and then make suggested changes if needed.
After opportunities for revision and review, the Council will vote on the proposed budget in June to adopt it for the 2023 fiscal year which begins July 1.
