SENIOR PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Geoffrey Teal joined the Office of the City Auditor in February 2019. Since joining the office, Geoff has worked on the Performance Audit of the City’s Public Liability Management, the Strategic Human Capital Management Part I and II audits, the Performance Audit of the City’s General Fund User Fees, the FY2022 Code Enforcement Division audit, the Performance Audit of the City’s CIP Approval Process, and the Performance Audit of the San Diego Housing Commission’s Property Acquisition Process.

Geoff has a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colorado State University. He previously worked as a school director in the field of international education, gaining experience both in the U.S. and abroad.
