PRINCIPAL PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Carissa Nash joined the office of the City Auditor in January 2020 and was promoted to Principal Performance Auditor in October 2022. Recently she has led performance audits of Facility Maintenance, SDPD Overtime, Citywide Hiring, and SDPD’s Use and Management of Body Cameras. Previously, she worked for the Texas Legislature’s Sunset Advisory Commission. Carissa is a Certified Internal Auditor, has a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas, and has a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University.
