Public Utilities

The City of San Diego Public Utilities Department currently serves over 2.2 million wastewater customers and provides clean and safe drinking water to 1.4 million residents. We own and operate 9 reservoirs, 3 water treatment plants, 3 wastewater treatment plants, 131 pump stations and over 6,300 miles of pipelines.
