To make a resident tee time, customers must have a valid Resident I.D. Card. 

To qualify, cardholders must live in or own a residence within the San Diego City Council-defined districts.

For Reservations 0 to 7 days in advance: (Applicable for Mission Bay, Balboa Park and Torrey Pines golf courses) 

• All times within this window are available via our booking portal.
• Online tee times are released at 7:00 p.m. daily.
• No booking fees apply.
• A maximum of two times, for up to eight players per day, per reservation holder.

For Reservations 8 to 90 days in advance: (Applicable for Torrey Pines golf course)

• Due to the high demand for both Golf Digest Top-100 golf courses, Advanced Reservations are recommended as the preferred method to guarantee your ideal tee time.
• Tee time reservations are only available online or in person. To make reservations 8-90 days in advance please use our booking portal.
• Online tee times are released at 7:00 p.m. daily.
• A non-refundable booking fee per player per tee time will be charged to reserve your space and does not apply to green fees.
• Players will pay green fees on the day of play to the starter and applicable golf cart and golf club rental fees in the Golf Shop.

• All advance reservations must be secured at the time of reservation with a non-refundable booking fee. We accept all major credit cards.
• City residents must have a valid City Resident Card present at the time of reservation.
• A maximum of two times, for up to eight players per day, per reservation holder.

• Online tee times are released at 7:00 p.m. daily.
• A non-refundable booking fee per player per tee time will be charged to reserve your space and does not apply to green fees.
• There are only a limited number of advance times available each day, and times fill quickly. We recommend making reservations as soon as plans allow.
• Players will pay green fees on the day of play to the starter and applicable golf cart and golf club rental fees in the Golf Shop.
• For a complete list of fees, see our rates.
• All advance reservations must be secured at the time of reservation with a non-refundable booking fee. We accept all major credit cards.

For Groups 16 or More:

• Torrey Pines allows bookings for groups of 16 players or more beyond the 90-day window.
• If you wish to submit a request for your group, you may do so here.
• Any request for groups of fewer than 16 players will be denied.

How to Purchase Online

You can buy a gift card through the San Diego City Golf app or by visiting sandiego.gov/golf and following these steps:

1. Log into your account.
2. Tap "Purchase/Renew Resident Card."
3. Select "Buy Gift Card" and follow the prompts.

* Limitations:

• At Torrey Pines, gift cards can only be used for green fees and advanced booking fees.
• At Balboa Park GC and Mission Bay GC, gift cards can be used for green fees, merchandise, and cart rentals.
