2026 Election Information
November 3, 2026 General Municipal Election
The top two vote getters from the June 2, 2026 Primary Election will be voted upon the November 3, 2026 ballot. The City of San Diego’s general municipal election will be consolidated with the 2026 California General election. The 2026 general election will be to elect Councilmembers to the following offices:
- Council District 2
- Council District 4
- Council District 6
- Council District 8
Candidate Log
Names are listed in alphabetical order. The random draw to determine ballot order will occur on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m. at the City Administration Building, 202 C Street, Lobby, San Diego, CA 92101. Members of the public are welcome to view the random draw.
Each candidate has the option to revise their ballot materials, or keep the same as the June ballot. These documents will be available after the filing deadline. The public examination period of these materials will be: July 28 - August 7, 2026.
